Originally
established in 1983, TCR Services, Inc. provides assistance to
non-profit clients, corporate organizations, foundations and government agencies. Based in Virginia,
TCR is very familiar with government activities and related organizations and resources.
With extensive knowledge of government activities, as well as private sector experience, fundraising success, trade involvement,
technical skills, management expertise, and program knowledge, TCR provides clients with a unique and comprehensive set of
integrated technical, consulting, and representation services.
TCR is equally at home serving clients in areas of non-profit strategy and management, food aid, health and nutrition
activities, fundraising, U.S. government foreign assistance and commodity export programs,
or maritime and shipping guidance. In more specialized functions, TCR has
undertaken client engagements involving on-site management evaluations and
strategic planning, assessments of program and funding
opportunities; assistance with proposal writing and grant applications, and
legislative analysis. TCR is a recognized source of expertise in commodity
and health programs and associated operational, and management advisory functions.
TCR's policy of strict client confidentiality ensures that sensitive
client engagement information is always protected.
TCR's founder, Daniel E. Shaughnessy, has extensive experience in
non profit management, food aid, health programs, international development, related trade and business matters and corporate consulting.
His career has included a Presidential appointment, CEO of an
international non profit organization, leadership of private trade
associations, executive positions in USAID, State Department and USDA, and
staff assignments in the US Senate.
As
President and CEO of TCR, he offers
wide experience in management, as well as expertise in government, private
sector and trade matters to clients. He is a recognized expert in international food
aid and is often called upon by government, business and non-profit organizations for advice and consulting, as well as service on non-profit Boards.
